Nkhape

Terms of use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company name] (Pty) Ltd, registration number [registration number] (“Nkhape”, “we”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Nkhape is not an emergency service. If you or anyone else is in immediate danger, call SAPS on 10111 (or 112 from a cellphone) first. We can’t guarantee that an officer is available, how quickly one arrives, or that an escort will prevent harm.

1. The service

Nkhape is a platform that connects motorists (“drivers”) with private security officers registered with PSIRA (“officers”) who escort drivers in their own vehicles. When you request an escort, nearby officers who are on duty are offered the request and the first to accept responds. [Describe the legal relationship between Nkhape and officers, e.g. independent contractors, once confirmed.]

2. Your account

3. Drivers: kilometres and charges

4. Using Nkhape responsibly

You agree not to:

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report criminal behaviour to SAPS.

5. Officers

6. Liability

[To be completed with legal advice. To cover: the extent of Nkhape’s responsibility for officers’ conduct; limits of liability as far as the Consumer Protection Act allows; and that nothing in these terms limits rights you have under South African law.]

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies. South African law governs these terms. Questions: support@nkhape.co.za.
